A MAN who boasted he was "supersperm" on the Jeremy Kyle show has been jailed for at least 33 years for the brutal murder of a grannie for her pension money.

Father-of-four Liam Naylor claimed on TV that he impregnated every woman he slept with and took a DNA test to prove he was the father of his ex-girlfriend's six-week-old son.

Five months later Naylor, 23, throttled, beat, slashed and stabbed 75-year-old Doreen Walker more than 40 times in her own home.

Naylor, who was unemployed and on benefits, left a carving knife in her neck before paying for a night out with friends using Mrs Walker stolen £104 pension.

Jailing Naylor for life with a minimum term of 33 years, Judge Julian Goose said: "This was a murder for gain so you could steal her pension money.

"Even more chilling during the time you were in the house you were texting your friends to make arrangements for your night out."

Naylor, who has four children to two different partners, stabbed Mrs Walker through the heart, smashed and broke her nose and twisted her right arm until it broke.

In his defence, Naylor claimed the eight-stone pensioner had "jumped into the knife" after he disarmed her when she attacked him and then he used the knife on her.

Naylor was found guilty of murder by a jury at Sheffield Crown Court after a week-long trial.

After the hearing investigating officer Det Supt Richard Fewkes said: "It remains unclear what was going through his mind when he committed one of the most brutal murders I have dealt with in my 29 years in the force.

"I have watched Liam Naylor give evidence throughout the trial and there has been an air of arrogance about him. On occasions he was smiling. That sums him up.

"Dorothy was very much a home bird. She was elderly, frail and had the onset of arthritis but showed great kindness and on occasions she extended that kindness to Naylor which makes this offence even more abhorrent."
