IT may be 50-years-old, but you’d never know it looking at Connie Bell’s wedding photographs.
She looked simply stunning in the vintage wedding dress which her grandmother Margaret White also wore for her nuptials in 1966.
Connie, who married husband Sam at the Crown Hotel in Harrogate, said: “As soon as I saw the dress I fell in love with it.
“I had already bought a dress, but my grandma showed me hers two weeks before the wedding and as soon as I saw it there was no way I wasn’t going to wear it.
“I wanted my guests to see me in it, wore it to the ceremony and for the photos and wore my other dress in the evening.
“I knew she had always saved her dress, and she kept saying she would show it to me but she never did. It was only two weeks before the wedding when she did - and I’m so glad she did.”
