A LITTLE girl who was diagnosed with a rare form of cancer and underwent gruelling treatment will find out later this month if she is in remission.

Aalish Naylor, seven, was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in December 2015 and has since undergone chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy which helps her body recognise and fight cancerous cells in the future.

She has now completed her end of treatment tests and although she was in hospital last week with a high temperature, she and her family are awaiting the all-important results.

They are looking forward to the day when Aalish can ring the bell at the children’s hospital to signal she is in remission.
