LITTLE Aalish Naylor and her family are staying positive after being dealt a cruel blow - areas of cancer have been detected in her arms and legs.

Seven-year-old Aalish was diagnosed with neuroblastoma in December 2015 and has undergone gruelling chemotherapy, radiotherapy and immunotherapy.

But her family were given the latest devastating news when they went for the results of her end-of-treatment tests last Wednesday.

Her mum Jo, 40, of Hawthorne Crescent, Dodworth, said: “It was a bit like a hammer hitting me in the face. We were all devastated, even Aalish’s doctor was crying because she had not expected this. It was a very emotional day and it took quite a while for it to sink in.”
