AN 80-year-old man who is accused of harassing a vicar has been given more time to find a solicitor to represent him in court.
Jack Brown, of Lamb Lane, Monk Bretton, appeared unrepresented at Barnsley Magistrates’ Court on Wednesday where a new trial date of January 22 was set.
The former county councillor denies harassment by sending letters to Fr Brian Bell, who is priest at St Paul’s Church, Monk Bretton.

Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
