A NEW Aldi supermarket in Goldthorpe could be open as soon as next summer after plans were approved by the council.
The store will face the Holly Grove roundabout at Highgate filling in the triangular site between Barnsley Road and the A635, currently sloping fields.
Aldi says work on the store should start in February and be ready for the summer.
