CONTROVERSIAL chat show host Jeremy Kyle got a taste of his own medicine when little Alfie Ledgeway stepped onto the stage.

The five-year-old literally took over Jeremy’s ITV show when he appeared to raise awareness of the rare condition which he suffers from.

Young Alfie, of West Street, Wombwell, has chiari malformation, which means the lower part of his brain is being pushed towards his spinal cord.

The condition affects his eyesight and balance, giving him constant headaches and requiring 25 operations in the past two years.

Alfie appeared on a special version of The Jeremy Kyle Show called ‘my child is my inspiration’ last Thursday. To watch it, click here
