LITTLE Alfie Ledgeway was devastated when his best pal and former Barnsley player Alfie Mawson signed for premier league side Swansea City.
But the kind-hearted centre-back sent the youngster a touching letter and a Swansea kit with the affectionate nickname ‘Little Alf’ emblazoned on the back above Mawson’s new number.
The note read: ‘To Little Alf, Hope you are ok pal. I know it’s not a green kit but I hope you like it. Topman, love Big Alf x’
