A FUNFAIR, complete with a beach, is opening at Penny Pie Park tomorrow.
Barnsley By The Sea, operated by Scott Pullen and Son Fun Fairs, is bringing a week of rides, activities and a beach providing fun for all the family from tomorrow until Saturday August 18.
The family-run business has implemented a wristband system, providing three hours of free rides for just £5.99. The beach, off Dodworth Road, is available to play in all day, and includes free buckets and spades to build precious memories right on your doorstep.
Scott said: “Barnsley by the Sea will be a fantastic fun day for kids. They have three hours of free riding where they can enjoy the carousel, bouncy castle and tea cups and then head over to the beach and have endless fun building sandcastles, search for treasure or catch some rays on our giant deck chairs.”
There will also be giant board games available for families who want to get competitive and there are also paid-for activities such as a bungee trampoline and water boats.
For adults who wish to accompany their children and not go on the rides, you can purchase a non-rider band for £2. There are three sessions per day at 1pm to 4pm, 3pm to 6pm and 5pm to 8pm.
