AN ALLOTMENT holder who has kept cockerels for more than 35 years faces having to get rid of them after complaints from nearby houses.
Malcolm Wilson, 71, of Borrowdale Close, Ardsley, has kept the birds for showing and breeding since the late 70s.
He keeps them on his plot at Brick Terrace allotments in Ardsley, but was upset to discover a notice telling him and two gardeners who have cockerels to get rid of them.
