A CEREMONY took place last week to celebrate 40 years of Woodhall Flats in Darfield.
Ann Copeland has worked at the centre since it opened in 1974 and she received a 'this is your life' style book and flowers from Mayor Councillor Ken Richardson.
More than 70 people attended the event including local councillor Brian Key who was also at the initial opening.
Community buildings team members Mandy Hazeldine and Vicky Lashmar organised a display of memorabilia loaned from the Maurice Dobson Museum documenting the history of Woodhall Flats and Woodhall Farm which had previously stood on the site.
