World snooker is due to finish its 2018 schedule with a free event at the Metrodome next week.

The likes of Mark Selby, Neil Robertson, Ding Junhui, John Higgins, Judd Trump, Jimmy White and current world champion Mark Williams are due in Barnsley during the German Masters qualifiers from Tuesday until Friday.

World Snooker regularly stages events at the Metrodome, including last year’s English Open which was won by Ronnie O’Sullivan.

The Metrodome’s Richard Bailey said: “We are looking forward to hosting World Snooker again and hopefully we get some really good crowds.

“A lot of people have said to me that it is amazing that they get to see the best snooker players in the world for free in Barnsley. We have hosted a lot of their events now and we have got some more dates booked in for next year.”

The sessions will be 10am, 2.30pm and 7.30pm every day. The full draw can be found at www.worldsnooker.com.
