A LOCAL entrepreneur who set up a business at the age of just 15 has added yet another award to her ever growing collection.

At the Yorkshire Young Achievers Award Rose Dyson, 18, of Towngate, Silkstone, was awarded the Achievement in Management and Enterprise award where she was also recognised as one of the most promising CEOs in the country.

Rose set up Pura Cosmetics when she was in year ten at Horizon Community College as part of the ‘I Know I Can Barnsley Big Challenge’ where she started out with an investment of just £25 and has grown her business to the point where last year she made a turnover of £50,000.

The Pura Cosmetics products are a range of lip scrubs and lip balms that are hand made, vegan and cruelty free.
