A MAN has been left with serious injuries following a collision between two cars.
At 9.09pm on Saturday, it is reported that a blue Volkswagen Golf was driving in the direction of the White Rose roundabout on Barnsley Road, Wombwell, when a Green Vauxhall Astra pulled out of a parking space whilst completing a u-turn. The Astra then collided with the Golf.
The driver of the Astra, a 52-year-old man, suffered serious injuries to his pelvis. The passenger, a 51-year-old woman suffered minor injuries.
A police spokesperson said: “Officers would like to speak to anyone who saw what happened or has anyone who has information that may help their investigation.
“Did you witness the collision? Please call 101 quoting incident 920 of April 6.”
