POLICE are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault on a teenager.
The 17-year-old victim was taken to hospital following the attack on Saturday in Montgomery Square, Wath-upon-Dearne, and remains in critical condition.
A 19-year-old man was arrested shortly after the incident, with police continuing to carry out enquiries.
