THREE-LEGGED runaway cat Bruce has come home.

Owner Kate Bembridge became worried over the weekend after she accidentally left the patio door open on Saturday and he escaped.

But after three days away, he returned home on Monday.

Commenting on Facebook, Kate said: "Bruce has been found guys. Thank you so much for sharing and for your concern your efforts have really helped to get him home."

Kate's daughter Sally said: "A neighbor found him in their garden - all we can assume is that he made his way back from from around Melville Street today. Thank you all so much for your shares - my mum is absolutely over the moon."

Kate rescued Bruce from being put to sleep last year when he was brought into Pets At Home with a broken leg and in a bad way.

But after a successful amputation, he has had a strong recovery and enjoys life as a house cat at Kate’s Lundhill Grove home.
