A GROUP of school volunteers known as the 'Dream Team' have been put forward for the tremendous work they do at Greenfield Primary in Hoyland.

Salley Wheatley, Roger and Angela Keddy and Yvonne Bond were given the nickname by headteacher Andrew Ralph.

They save the school thousands of pounds in painting and installation costs, allowing the school to spend more on activities for the pupils.

Mr Ralph said: "They have painted fences, play equipment, installed soft play equipment, prepared raised beds and cleared a forest area.

"They save the school thousands of pounds which means we can spend more money on quality equipment."
