HOYLANDSWAINE Baby and Toddler Group could be forced to close after 35 years because there's nobody to run it.
Jaki Mallinson, who has children aged four and seven, has been running the group this year in a second spell in charge, but can't continue in September and so far the group has been unable to find a replacement.
"It would be such a shame if it were to close because it's been running for so many years," said Jaki, of Greenside Gardens, Hoylandswaine.
"It would more or less run itself because the parents are all great and would all muck in, but nobody seems to be able to take on the overall responsibility of opening up and closing up after."
The group meets once a week at Hoylandswaine Village Hall, Monday, 9.30 to 11.30am.
