GET your buckets and spades - the beach is back in town.
Barnsley by the Sea was opened near the semi-open market on Wednesday by Mayor Coun Linda Burgess and is bigger and better than before, opening six days a week from Monday to Saturday for the duration of the school holidays.
People are invited to go along enjoy an ice-cream, take a donkey ride or simply sit back, soak up some sun and enjoy live traditional seaside entertainment every Saturday.
