HE has been dancing since he was just three.
Next month Theo Shirt will take to the stage when he appears in a production of the classic ballet Giselle with the English Youth Ballet company.
Theo, nine, was chosen from almost 300 hopefuls who auditioned to be part of the production which will be staged at the Theatre Royal in Nottingham.
Proud mum Donna, from Kirkland Gardens, Monk Bretton, said it was one of Theo’s teachers at Jay Bee theatre school in Barugh Green who told him about the auditions.
“We are all very proud he was chosen and Theo is excited and really looking forward to performing in such a prestigious production,” she said.
