A LITTLE girl who suffers from a congenital birth defect and a host of other health conditions such as epilepsy has been nominated by her proud mother for an award.
Emily Unwin, eight, suffers from goldenhar syndrome - which involves deformities of the face - and has had numerous problems since she was born including epilepsy, global development delay and hypermobility.
She also has poor sight and hearing.
Her mother Louise Unwin, 33, of Kexborough, has nominated Emily, know as Emily Harper before Louise married, in the triumph over adversity category.
