A TALENTED singer is set to appear on a BBC One reality TV music show All Together Now.

Emily Louise, 20, of Cemetery Road, was invited to audition by the producers after they came across her Youtube Channel where she uploads covers of songs.

All Together Now is a sing along show which launched last year and is hosted by comedian Rob Beckett and Spice Girl Geri Horner.

Participants have to get as many of the panel singing along as possible with their performance to qualify for the final.

Emily said: “I was shocked when I received a message from the show asking me to audition. The difference with this show and other musical talent shows is that they approach you, you don’t have to apply which I think is great because they must have liked what I have to offer.

“The audition process has been fun and it’s been amazing to see how a show is put together in a professional environment. It’s my first ever TV performance so I am proud to have been offered this opportunity.”

The former Outwood Academy student has been performing since she was eight years old and is currently a second year student studying Performing Arts at Hull University.

When she is not studying, Emily performs around Barnsley and Hull, where she also helps out at local performing arts classes.

You can watch Emily perform tomorrow at 7.30pm on BBC One
