A BARNSLEY man who was among more than 50 people injured in the fatal Croydon tram disaster has described it as like living through a scene from a horror movie.
Kevin Snow was near the front of the tram which overturned on a bend at 6.10am on Wednesday, killing seven people and leaving many with horrific injuries.
“It was absolutely horrendous,” said Kevin, 57, of West Pinfold, Royston. “It really was like something off a horror movie.
We have been at the heart of our community, every week, since 1858. The town and its people have changed dramatically since then but the Chronicle has been a constant.
It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
