A BARNSLEY man who preyed on teenage girls using Facebook before trying to entice them into sexual activity has been jailed for inciting child prostitution.

Andrew Dawson, 28, of Garden House Close, Monk Bretton, has been put behind bars for 34 months after admitting offences committed against four underage girls he met on the internet.

He was jailed last Thursday after pleading guilty at Sheffield Crown Court to four counts of inciting child prostitution.

Dawson used various aliases to contact vulnerable young girls on Facebook and offered them money to try to entice them to engage in sexual activity with him.
