Barnsley have announced the signing of Oliver McBurnie for the second time this season, five months after his August deadline day deal was cancelled.

The Reds' initial season-long loan deal for the Swansea City striker was stopped by the authorities as the correct paperwork had not been filed in time.

This new loan deal until the end of the season was announced 25 minutes after the 11pm deadline on January 31 but Barnsley believe they have completed the transfer this time.

The 21-year-old has continued to play for the Premier League Swans, making 11 appearances in the top flight this season.

Meanwhile, young striker Jacob Brown has been loaned out to League Two Chesterfield.
