Barnsley's answer to Ghostbusters

BARNSLEY has it's own answer to Ghostbusters, thanks to Gari Lee, founder of the South Yorkshire Amateur Paranormal Society (SYAPS).

The society meets once a month at the Anglers Rest in Wombwell, and regularly keeps in touch over its group Facebook.

Gari, 45, moved from Castleford to Brampton in 2011, and decided to set up a group to investigate paranormal activity earlier this year.

Gari, of Moorbridge Crescent, Brampton, has been interested in all things spooky from a young age. The group is looking for places to investigate in Barnsley.

Members have previously been and investigated Stocksbridge bypass and the RADAR dog rescue store in Wombwell (formerly Blockbusters).
