BARNSLEY MPs say defeat of the 'bedroom tax' has moved a step closer following the opposition's defeat of the government in parliament earlier this month.
The proposal backed by MPs would reduce the number of households who pay the so-called bedroom tax - a reduction in housing benefit to households deemed to have a spare bedroom.
