IT'S Benidorm or bust for this daring duo who hope to become kings of the road on a cross-country adventure.

James Collins and Nathan Thornton will spend four days driving in their delightfully cheap, 12-year-old banger with Spain set firmly in their sights to raise dosh for a Barnsley youth project.

James and Nathan, who both work as joiners and live on the same street, Queen's Way, are praying the FIAT Multipla which cost them less than £300 - will last the 1,700 mile cross country trip without falling apart.

They will be covering between 300 and 450 miles a day and the first leg of the journey takes them from Blackpool to Dover for the ferry to Calais. From Calais they will go to Poitiers, through Bordeaux, over the Pyrenees mountains and into Spain. Then the lads will make their way to Zaragoza before the final leg to Benidorm.

All the money raised from the jaunt will go to the Exodus Project, a children's charity based in Barnsley which reaches out to young people.
