BIG Brother star Sian Hamshaw has been reunited with her young son after almost two months apart.

Sian, 25, entered the Big Brother house on September 14 with 13 others, and narrowly missed out on a place in Monday’s final after finishing in fifth place.

Sian, who lives near Oakwell, said she coped with being away from Archie, four, by constantly thinking she would be voted off and counting down the days to seeing him again.

She said: “Instead of thinking about the number of days I had been away from him, I tried to think about the number of days until I saw him. I constantly told myself that I would be going, and so I constantly thought I would be seeing him. I tried to think about it positively.

“I thought I would go out in the first week because I thought people would see me as chavvy and common, and because I’m blonde and I’ve had a boob job and I’ve got tattoos. I thought if people just went off what they saw, I’d probably be out first.”

Sian spent 50 days inside the house with no contact with the outside world.

She said she immediately didn’t like Ellis  who was removed from the house within 24 hours after historical offensive tweets resurfaced describing her as ‘immature and loud’. She also wasn’t keen on Kaye as she felt she wasn’t being herself.

“I loved Kenaley. As soon as I walked in I knew I would get along with her. And Isaac, I was drawn to them from the beginning.

“Towards the end, we were one big group which came together and that’s because certain people went out when they did Lewis.

“I haven’t watched any of it yet, but everyone keeps telling me what they have seen. Me and Lewis argued a lot, but they didn’t show our arguments, or all of the arguments.”

Sian also put to bed any rumours of a romance with Isaac, saying that although they have spoken since she left, they are just friends.

She said there wasn’t a great deal to do in the house, and the housemates became each other’s entertainment.

“You can’t go anywhere or do anything. You have no idea what people think of you. We didn’t know what time it was and we were woken up at different times so we couldn’t guess.

“Sometimes they locked the bedroom so we couldn’t go to bed early. You can’t sing songs because it’s commercial. You are each other’s entertainment.”

Sian was branded boring by some, but said the only comments which had annoyed her were that she swore and smoked too much.

“Someone sent me a message saying ‘all you do is smoke and swear 99 per cent of the time’ I replied by saying that your 99 per cent of the time is just 59 minutes of a whole day.”

The housemates were unaware until they left that this was the last-ever series of Big Brother on Channel 5. It means Sian was the last ever evicted housemate.

She said: “I’ll take that. If I could have chosen when to come out, I would have picked that moment. I thought it was between me, Zoe and Brooke, and it was we were all tied at one point.”

Although she had backed Cian to win and said she voted for him 100 times, she was pleased for Cameron when he was crowned winner.

She is now weighing up her options, adding: “I know this isn’t going to last forever so I’m going to grab everything with both hands. After that, I’d be quite happy to go back to my normal life, there was nothing wrong with my life before.”
