BODYBUILDER Mark Harding has a huge appetite for protein bars but when diagnosed allergic to dairy, wheat, gluten and eggs he found it difficult to obtain the fuel needed for his intensive workouts.

So Mark and his wife and fellow fitness fanatic Kelly went to work researching and developing their own range of healthy protein bars which are free of wheat, dairy and gluten.

They’ve spent hundreds of hours experimenting with various ingredients and recipes in their own kitchen. To make it all the more challenging they also set themselves the rule of using only natural ingredients and packing their bars with ‘superfoods’.

“We basically wanted to create a range of ‘go-to’ products for anyone wanting to try and live a healthy lifestyle,” said Mark, 35, of Spring Gardens, Barnsley.
