A BARNSLEY lad of 11 has just missed out on a place in the final of Britain’s Got Talent.

Boyband Bring It North, formerly Made Up North, consists of five lads aged just ten and 11 and includes Barnsley’s own Felix Yates, 11, of Worsbrough Bridge, a pupil of St Helen’s Primary, Hoyland.

They made it through to the live semi-finals after impressing judges Simon Cowell, Amanda Holden, David Walliams and Alesha Dixon last week.

Tonight they performed for a place in Sunday’s final, but were pipped in the public vote by Musical comedian Micky P Kerr and gymnasts The Giang Brothers.
