Teenage full-back James Bree could miss some of Barnsley's promotion run-in after a re-occurence of his hamstring injury.

The 18-year-old, who had just returned to the side weeks earlier, limped off against Oldham on Tuesday. Head coach Paul Heckingbottom said: "We are not sure how serious it is yet but he'll be out for Burton Albion on Saturday. We want to get him back sooner rather than later.

"We knew he was desperate to get back for Wembley (in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy final on April 3) and credit to him for that because he worked his socks off. He was way ahead of where he should have been. It's just unfortunate.

"I think the long delay with Brian Wilson's injury (the Oldham defender was down for seven minutes) didn't do him any favours because he was stood about and it happened five minutes after that."
