BUSINESS owners have called for more CCTV cameras in Cudworth due to a growing antisocial behaviour problem they say is driving custom away.

Long-running antisocial behaviour issues have spiked over the last two months, according to owners of firms along Barnsley Road.

Christina Georgiodes, who runs Laki's Fish Bar, claims teenagers are driving her customers away - one night she had to call police seven times after confronting a gang who refused to move from the shop's entrance.

She said: "A lot of my customers are 60, 70 and 80 years old and they are having their path to the shop blocked by these teenagers who are causing a nuisance."
