TWO businesses say they are on the verge of collapse because of the closure of Dodworth bypass.
Carol Walton runs the Cazbar cafe from a mobile snack bar in a layby on the bypass. Next to her is Julie Dawick with her florists Blooming Julie's.
Although there are no roadworks directly affecting the layby - signs do say a diversion is in place and that means their trade has slumped.
Carol is losing a huge amount of money every week and she doesn't know if she will ever recover and now delays in completing the roadworks means the bypass will not reopen until February 15.
Florist Julie said: "This isn't simply an inconvenience, it's costing us our businesses."
