A MONK Bretton businessman has been nominated for a Triumph Over Adversity award after overcoming his disabilities to create a successful printing business.
Andrew Archer runs Comtec Printing Services alongside his wife Gillian and employee of 20 years Mark Bell.
The Barnsley firm has grown to serve more than 5,000 customers since it was set up in 1992, but Andrew said this is down to his own determination to provide a good service and the dedication of Gillian and Mark.
Graphic designer Andrew - who has been in a wheelchair since he was 17 - suffered two strokes four years ago which affected his sight.
Andrew was nominated for a Triumph Over Adversity award by customer Judith Penrose.
