THIS friendly cat’s jaw and cheek were ripped apart when she was brutally kicked in the face in the latest of a string of violent attacks on cats in a Barnsley street.
Luke Baker said there is no doubt Missy had been kicked on Saturday afternoon, and it comes less than a month after another of his family’s cats was kicked to death close to their Beckett Street home.
Lumps of cheese stuffed full of paracetamol have been left in front gardens along the street, and other cats have been pelted with stones.
“I just can’t believe anyone could do this to an animal,” said Luke, 22. “Her jaw was split, some of her teeth were pointing up, some pointing down, and her cheek had become detached. It was horrendous.”
