CCTV will be made available to combat fly-tipping at hotspots across the district.
After year-round issues at areas in Cudworth, Grimethorpe, Royston and Shafton, the Neighbourhood Watch will work with local councillors in the new year in a bid to alleviate problems which have so far failed to go away.
John Hallows, from the Neighbourhood Watch, said cameras are available to use and efforts will be stepped up.
“We have three cameras available and it’s time to use them to stop it from happening,” he said. “There’s been a lot of talk about fly-tipping and now it’s time to act.”
