A PAIR of Penistone sisters are bringing the music of Michael Buble to the town to raise money for a charity which supports sick children.

Tina Vickers, whose 15-year-old son Kyle suffers with cerebral palsy, and sibling Andrea Ashton have organised a tribute act event in aid of Bluebell Wood children's hospice in Rotherham.

Kyle requires full-time care and he and his family receive help from the charity.

Tina, 50, of New Chapel Avenue, Cubley, said: "It's 24-hour care looking after Kyle. He can't do anything for himself, he can't walk and he can't sit. It's hard work it really is.

"This is why we like Bluebell Wood as much as we do. My job is still the same when we go on holiday but you go there and there's that bit of respite. I class it as my holiday.

"This is just a little bit of paying something back - it costs £3m a year to run it."

Tina has called on the help of friend Tony Jay, who performs as MyKool Buble, for the charity evening.

About 40 of the 120 available tickets have been sold so far.

The evening, from 7pm on Saturday April 26 at Cubley Hall, also includes a buffet and a disco.
