IT’S beginning to look a lot like Christmas in Elsecar with this charity light display.

Every year Ryan Loxley, 35, and his mum Ann turn their home on Cobcar Street into a show by decking up their house with flashing lights that move to synchronised Christmas music.

They initially started doing it for fun, but people started coming to see them and one asked if they were doing it for charity.

This year is now the fourth year they have raised money for the Barnsley Hospice.

Raffle tickets currently on sale will be drawn at the Christmas Eve show and all the money will be donated to the hospice.

The half hour music show will run every Sunday, Monday, Wednesday and Friday up until Christmas.

On Christmas Eve, Santa will be there to meet children along with different Disney characters and Ann will be handing out hot chocolates.
