Barnsley's four-game winning run came to an end with a 2-1 loss at home to Fleetwood Town.

Peter Ramage fired the Reds ahead after five minutes but they were behind on 33 following two sloppy goals. Barnsley are now down to 17th, seven points above the relegation zone and seven off the play-offs.

Danny Wilson undid the changes he made for the loss at Swindon on Saturday and went with the team that won against Oldham a week ago. Kane Hemmings and Conor Hourihane returned for Paul Digby, who dropped out of the squad, and George Smith, who was on the bench.

The Reds got the perfect start when visiting goalkeeper Chris Maxwell spilled Hourihane's low free-kick straight to Ramage who smashed the ball into the roof of the net.

But the Cod Army were level when Hourihane and Lewin Nyatanga failed to clear a free-kick and Conor McLaughlin fired a superb shot from the edge of the area into the top left corner.

The visitors completed the turnaround on 33 minutes when Liam McAlinden smashed in at the back post after Nick Haughton's left wing corner was flicked on.

McAlinden should have made it 3-1 just before the break when he was unmarked at the back post from a right wing cross but completely mishit his volley and the ball was cleared.

Smith came on at half-time for Jean Yves M'voto and floated in a fine cross which Hemmings could not quite get on the end of.

Ramage and Martin Cranie both floated headers over the bar then Hemmings scuffed a shot straight into Maxwell's arms.
