IT’S not every day you get to meet a member of the Royal Family.
But that’s exactly what happened to Rubina Rashid who was introduced to Prince Andrew at the recent Duke of York awards’ ceremony.
She attended to represent Barnsley College’s Enterprise department and Learning Technologies Unit which were both commended.
The Enterprise department claimed The Duke of York Community Initiative Award for its iTrust programme, which is run in partnership with the Barnsley Chronicle, and was also a finalist in the Student Support categories at both the Educate the North Awards and the TES Awards.
