IT pays to be taught by an expert and that's precisely what happened to players from Barnsley College's Rugby Academy, who received expert tips from Yorkshire Carnegie Rugby Club players Harry Casson and Matt Smith.
Matt and his fellow second row Harry ran a training session for a mixed group of players, which covered techniques such as tackling and decision making, followed by a game where they were able to put these skills into practice.
The Rugby Academy is open to all students at Barnsley College, whether they are studying sport or not.
Tony Martin, Barnsley College Rugby Academy Coach, said: "The students really appreciated Harry and Matt putting on a session which has finely tuned their skills."
