BARNSLEY College are supporting a charity campaign in memory of a girl who was murdered in 2018.

Grace Millane was tragically murdered on the eve of her 22nd birthday whilst travelling New Zealand two years ago.

The Love Grace handbag appeal was set up by her family as a legacy in her name to help end violence towards women.

Nicola Thomson-Dewey, who is leading the campaign at Barnsley College said: “These bags could have such a positive impact just by showing that there are people out there who care.

“An act of kindness can be beneficial to everyone involved and we’re hoping people or businesses will be able to get behind and support the appeal.”

Donations of handbags and new, unused toiletry items can be dropped off at The Open Kitchen or Crumbs Cafe from Monday March 9 to Friday March 20, excluding weekends.
