A SENIOR councillor is pressing for action over police cars using public parking bays.
Coun Roy Miller has received complaints from members of the public who have not been able to use on-street parking on Westgate in Barnsley town centre because they were taken up by police vehicles.
He raised the issue at the cabinet meeting on Wednesday as part of talks on changes to community safety services.
