A CHRISTMAS market with a twist is coming to Elsecar this weekend - which features real life elves and the chance to win a ride on the Santa Steam Train.
Saturday and Sunday's event features almost 70 stalls crammed full of the best local hand-crafters selling wares that range from jewellery to home textiles, bags to scented candles.
There will be a bead bar for children who can sit and make a bracelet as well as the chance to make your own Gingerbread Man balloon.
There will also be a team of elves helping children write letters to Santa.
The event is in Building 21 at the Elsecar Heritage Centre, on Saturday and Sunday from 10am - 4pm.
