BOSSES at a curry house in Barnsley could be facing a £60,000 penalty after a swoop by immigration officials which saw three people arrested and detained for deportation.
The raid took place at Chilli Lodge, based at the Westfield Equestrian Centre in Knabbs Lane, Silkstone Common, early last Friday evening.
Immigration Enforcement officers arrested three men from Bangladesh.
A spokesman at Chilli Lodge, who described himself as the owner but declined to be named, said the men involved were not regular staff but "just in that day".

It’s our belief that news should be available to everyone regardless of their circumstance. But we need a little helping hand to do so.
Production Editor, Ashley Ball, said: "In an ever changing media world, it’s important that news is reported correctly and without any hidden agenda.
Your support allows us to keep holding decision-makers to account and report on everything that happens in the town, good or bad, fairly."
