BARNSLEY'S Dickie Bird will be north of the border this weekend.
Dickie has been invited to take his place in the audience at the BBC Sports Personality of the Year awards in Glasgow.
Dickie has been a guest at every awards ceremony since 1959 when he was part of the County Championship-winning Yorkshire side who were named Team of the Year.
