DISABLED-FRIENDLY swings and more children’s play equipment could be installed in Cudworth.
The village’s environment group has set out its plan to boost both Cudworth Park and Robert Street’s allotments and is readying its bid to retail giant Tesco, which has made grants of up to £5,000 available to local projects as part of its 5p plastic bag levy.
Known as ‘Bags of Help’, Tesco has already helped schemes at Shafton Primary Academy and Birkwood Primary School in Cudworth, who both introduced sensory gardens last year.
