THIS is the mystery man who helped rescue a dog trapped in a maze of underground water pipes.
Richard Moore, 25, was tracked down after an article in the Chronicle about his heroics in helping to save fWelsh springer spaniel Dylan.
Owner, Denise Brown, had been out walking Dylan on the Trans Pennine Trail between Monk Bretton and Lundwood when curiosity got the better ofhim and he vanished into a tunnel under a pumping station.
Richard, who had been out walking at the time, came across Denise and a friend in distress and offered to help look for Dylan, four.
