The girlfriend of a man jailed for 18 years for his part in a £25 million drugs trafficking gang has been sentenced for possession of criminal property.

 

Jaimie Mackinnon, 26, of Magnolia Close, Shafton, the partner of Paul Robinson, of the same address, pleaded guilty to possession of criminal property.

 

She was sentenced to do 150 hours of community service at Sheffield Crown Court on Monday.

 

Mackinnon's charge was namely for cash received from Robinson between August 2010 and August 2012 knowing or suspecting it to represent the proceeds of supplying controlled drugs.

 

Earlier this month Robinson was jailed for 18 years along along with seven others including Richard Stead, 45, of Greenfoot Lane, Barnsley, who was handed a 21 year jail term for drugs offence.
